Paul Anthony Chronowski Caro

Paul Anthony Chronowski, 60, of Caro, passed away, Sunday, January 18, 2015 with his family by his side after an arduous, 15 year battle with cancer.  He was born August 4, 1954 in Saginaw, son of Pauline (Sienko) Chronowski and the late Henry Chronowski.  Growing up, Paul attended St. Josaphat’s Catholic School before moving on to Carrollton High School, graduating in 1972.  Shortly thereafter, Paul married his high school sweetheart, Constance Sage on May 31, 1975 and soon started a family.  As a family man, Paul began his first long-term employment at General Motors (Delphi) where he made many lifelong friends during his 31 years of service.  Soon after his retirement, Paul, began a career at the Tuscola County Mosquito Abatement where he made many more friends and spread his energy and sense of humor far and wide during his four years of employment.  During his free time, Paul was an avid hunter, family man, car fanatic, and outdoorsman.  He enjoyed spending time at his cabin with his family and friends while hunting, snowmobiling, and telling stories and jokes.  Surviving in addition to his wife Connie of 39 years and mother, Pauline of Saginaw are his three daughters; Stacy Chronowski, Lacie (Kirk) Setla all of Caro, Katie (Andy) Block of Vassar; six grandchildren, Kelsey, Nicole, Brandon, Abby, Tyler, and Callie- due in March; brother, David Chronowski of Saginaw; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Nancy Sage of Chesaning, Chris (Robbie) Klonowski, Cathy (Jeff) Peterson, Mark (Jenny) Sage, Jeff Sage and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  In addition to his father Henry, his sister-in-law, Marjorie Chronowski, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale Sr. and Margaret Sage, and brother-in-law, Dale Sage Jr. all preceded him in death.  The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015 from St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Reese.  Father David Jenuwine will officiate.  Paul’s family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw Street, Reese on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the liturgy.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center Fund to support future patients and further research toward finding a cure to cancer.    www.waresmithwoolever.com
