District Court

David Michael Langley, 42, Caro, is charged with escape – from misdemeanor jail sentence. Preliminary exam is January 26.

Cody Jarrett Janisz, 20, Mayville, is charged with four count of criminal sexual conduct – 3rd degree (person 13-15). Pretrial was January 20, and preliminary exam is January 26.

Christopher Raymond Patterson, 28, Caro, is charged with weapons – carrying concealed; and controlled substance – possession of analogues. Preliminary exam is February 2.

Circuit Court

Steve Thomas Creason Jr., 24, Flint, was sentenced to 365 days deferred, 12 months probation and ordered to pay $1,398 fines and costs and $57 restitution for controlled substance – delivery/manufacture marijuana.

David Anthony Wise, 58, Gastonia, North Carolina, was sentenced to 1 year, 6 months to 15 years, credit for 107 days, ordered to pay $1,634 fines and costs for three counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing (habitual offender 4th offense).

Steven Andrew LaFave, 28, Vassar, was sentenced to 5 to 20 years, credit for 302 days, ordered to pay $1,198 fines and costs for child abuse – 2nd degree (habitual offender 3rd offense).

Eric Uyjean Truax, 23, Vassar, was sentenced to 300 days deferred, credit for 1 day, 24 months probation and ordered to pay $766 fines and costs for home invasion – 2nd degree; and weapons – firearms – larceny.

David Eugene Wheaton, 47, Fostoria, pled no contest to stalking – aggravated. Sentence date to be set.

Brett Gregory Lackie, 33, Caro, was sentenced to 2 to 15 years, credit for 182 days, and ordered to pay $698 fines and costs for sex offender – failure to comply with registration act – 3rd or subsequent offense (habitual offender 4th offense).

Ronald Harold Roseberry Jr., 48, Clio, was sentenced to 3 to 12 years, credit for 3 days, and ordered to pay $198 fine and costs and $5,000 restitution for weapons – firearms – possession by a felon (habitual offender 4th offense).

Charles Allen Lawrie, 48, Caro, was sentenced to 90 days deferred, credit for two days, 24 months probation and ordered to pay $948 fines and costs.
