Charles Curtis (Bud) Guinn, age 75 of Mayville, MI. went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday February 7, at the Fostoria Baptist Church with Pastor Steven Henry officiating. The family will receive visitors 2-8 PM on Friday at the Avram Funeral Home and on Saturday at 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Internment will take place at the North Grove Cemetery, Mayville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fostoria Baptist Church, The Gideons International, or the Juniata Christian School.
Bud was born August 1, 1939 in Pontiac MI. to Charles and Belle (Henson) Guinn. Bud graduated from Waterford Township High school in 1958. He married Chrystal Lay June 27, 1959 at Mills Memorial Baptist Church.
Bud loved hunting, fishing and his home. He loved spending time with his family. Bud retired from Oakdale in Lapeer where he was a maintenance supervisor, he then finished out his working years at the Caro Center.
Bud is survived by his wife Chrystal Lay Guinn, his three children, Tobin (Kathy) Guinn of Decker, MI., Jeffrey (Dawn) Guinn of Lowell, MI., and Kristie (Anson) Swadling of Mayville, MI. Grandchildren, Amanda Guinn, Anthony (Katelyn) Guinn, Andrew Guinn and fiancee Jessica Zawilinski, Kellen and Holden Guinn, Chelsea (Tim) Stevens, Austin, Caleb and Wyatt Swalding. Great grandchildren: Brennen Driscoll and Mikayela Parker. A sister Frieda Burrow of Waterford, MI.
