God called His child, Donna J. (Montney, Weber) Estes, to her eternal home early on Saturday, February 28, 2015. Donna was born on May 21, 1934, to her parents, Clayton and Clesson (Elton) Montney. On September 12, 1953, God united Donna and Emmanuel (Packy) Weber, Jr. in holy matrimony and granted them 33 years together, blessing that marriage with seven children. Following Mr. Weber’s death, Donna was united in marriage to Harrison Estes, Jr. on April 19, 1996. They enjoyed 10 years of marriage until Harrison’s death in 2006. Donna invested the 80 years God graciously gave her to serving her Lord, nurturing her family and unconditionally loving anyone God placed in her path. Donna loved travelling, shopping, socializing and serving others however she could. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday School and was an active member of the Dorcas Society. Donna was a living example of Proverbs 31, “her children arise and call her blessed”. All of those children and their spouses have survived her and will be her living legacy. Those children are Jim (Cindy) Weber, Laura (Russell) Sherman, Dan (Donna) Weber, Sue (Tom) Howay, Bill (Carol) Weber, Joe Weber, and John (Jose) Weber. God also blessed her with 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and 5 step children and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two sisters, Kay Smith and Carolyn (Leo) Currier and her brother and sisters-in-law, Pat Montney and Donna E. Weber, Don (Marlynn) Estes, Shirley Hawk, Martha Kinder and Wayne (Judy) Estes. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Kenneth Montney and Robert Montney and a brother-in-law, Vernon Weber, Richard Smith and James Estes. Visitation was held Monday, March 2, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Her Christ-centered funeral will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, MI. Pastor James Bruner will be conducting the service. Interment will take place at Millington Township Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring to honor Donna’s memory may make a contribution to St. Paul Lutheran Church General Fund or Building Fund.
