Linda Young, age 72 of Silverwood, MI. passed away March 16, 2015 at Covenant Cooper Medical Center in Saginaw, MI. Funeral services will be at 11AM Friday March 20 at the Silverwood United Methodist Church with Pastor Ron Hutchinson officiating. Family will receive visitors 2-8PM on Thursday March 19 at the Avram Funeral Home and 10AM on Friday until time of service at the Church. Internment will be at the W. Burlington Cemetery, Silverwood. Suggested memorials may be made to the Silverwood United Methodist Church or The Ronald McDonald House. Linda was born February 14, 1943 to Charles and Letha Thorp. Linda graduated from Lake Orion High School, she had a Associates Degree in Medical Billing, Linda retired from Toyo Seat in Imaly City in 2007. Linda married Calvin Young on December 2, 1961 in Auburn Hills, MI. Linda was a member of the Moose Lodge, #1049 in Caro, member of the United Methodist Womans Group, she loved her grandchildren, gardening, traveling, reading, cross word puzzles, and was a great animal lover. Linda is survived by son Brad Young and dear friend Annette of Livonia, MI., son in-law Scott Buhl of Mayville, one sister Mary Jane (Don) Shields of Oregon, 2 brother in laws, Herbert (Pam) Young of Mayville, Thomas (Christine) Young of Unionville, MI., one sister in law Nancy (Randy) Frenzel of Mayville, Grandchildren Evan (fiance Sarah) Buhl, Amber Young, Tessa (fiance Josh) Buhl, Brendan Young, Kaylee Young and 1 great grandaughter, Annabelle Buhl.
