CARO — Four suspects in an alleged breaking and entering a Caro business are lodged in the Tuscola County Jail awaiting arrangement this morning.
About 2 a.m. Tuesday, Tuscola County deputies were dispatched to the Vaughn Village Trailer Park in Indianfields Township after a concerned citizen reported a suspicious vehicle.
“The deputies located the vehicle and saw items through the window indicating more suspicious activity,” said Undersheriff Glen Skrent in a press release. “The deputies stayed in the area and eventually saw several people running.”
Two were caught immediately, and two others a short time later.
“Their investigation led them to a business on M-81 near Walk Road that has been the site for numerous break-ins lately,” said Skrent. “The building is a storage building and used to hold scrap metal.”
Of the four subjects arrested in that incident, two of them had outstanding warrants and one was on probation, according to Skrent.
The names will be released after arraignment, which is expected later today (Tuesday).
