Nancy Louise Parker, age 57 of Holt, passed away May 22, 2915 at her home following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born January 1, 1958 the daughter of James and Faith Rassette Parker. Nancy attended Kingston schools and Lansing Community College and was a United States Air Force veteran. She was a graphic artist from 1978 to present and also served as an adjunct professor at Lansing Community College from 1986 to present. She was a massage therapist and performed volunteer massage therapy for pediatrics at Sparrow Hospital. She was also a Certified Nurse Assistant and volunteer for Meals-On-Wheels. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with family and friends especially canoeing, kayaking, and camping. Nancy is survived by her father, James; daughter, Heather Cherniawski; sisters: Kim Hall, Victoria Parker, Julie Androsuk; brother, Brad Parker; and many special nieces and nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Faith Rassette Parker and step-mother, Constance Bauer Parker. A memorial service for Nancy will be held on May 30, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Estes Leadley Funeral Home, 2121 North Cedar Street, Holt, MI 48842.
