Martha Fern Wojahn, 75, passed away with her family by her side, Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the Iosco County Medical Care Facility. She was born, April 9, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan to John and Jenetta (Cobb) Harrison of Vassar, Michigan. She married Gale Wojahn on June 26, 1960 and he preceded her in death in 2008. Together they raised four children who love and serve the Lord. Fern most enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, bird-watching and visiting garage sales. She was employed by St. Joseph Health System for over 20 years as an Insurance Biller. She was an active member at First Baptist Church of Tawas City for over 50 years, embracing many roles within the church. Fern was also preceded in death by an infant son and parents, John and Jenetta Harrison. She is survived by her four children, Jennifer (Vern) Long of Tawas City, Jeff (Lori) Wojahn of East Tawas, Becky (Rich) Storrow of Clinton, OH, Chris (Beth) Wojahn of Santa Fe, NM; her grandchildren, Sarah Long of Tawas City, Ben Long of Tawas City, Shane Wojahn of East Tawas, Tyler (Samantha) Wojahn of Traverse City, Caitlin (Dustin) Bruce of Russellville, AL, Luke Storrow of Wellington, OH, Carley Storrow of Clinton, OH, Daniel and Joshua Wojahn of Santa Fe, NM; her great- grandchildren, Paige and Garrett; her sister, Sondra (Harry) Birk of Vasaar as well as aunts, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation and fellowship were held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5 at Buresh Funeral Home in Tawas City. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6 at First Baptist Church in Tawas City. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church or the Iosco County Medical Care Facility.
