Jonathan Wayne Schlicht, 25, Vassar, is charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault); domestic violence; assault or assault and battery; driving – reckless. A preliminary exam is scheduled for June 8.
CIRCUIT COURT
David Wesley Sexton, 32, Millington, was sentenced to 10 years – 30 years for criminal sexual conduct – 1st degree (person under 13, defendent 17 years of age or older). He was ordered to pay $198 in costs and fines. In a separate file, Sexton was sentenced to 10 years – 30 years for criminal sexual conduct – 2nd degree (person under 13); 10 years – 30 years for criminal sexual conduct – 2nd degree (person under 13). He was ordered to pay $1,266 in costs and fines.
Cody John Booth, 26, Mayville, was sentenced to 113 days with 113 days credit for police officer – assaulting/ resisting/obstructing; 113 days with 113 days credit for police officer – assaulting/resisting/ obstructing; 113 days with 113 days credit for operating while intoxicated. He was ordered to pay $1,736 in costs and fines. In a separate file, Booth was sentenced to 330 days with 111 days credit and 24 months probation for absconding or forfeiting bond. He was ordered to pay $298 in costs and fines.
Ronny Allen Schmidt, 44, Unionville, pleaded no contest to attempted assault by strangulation; stalking – aggravated. Sentence date to be set.
Karch Martin Taylor, 28, Caro, pleaded no contest to domestic violence – 3rd degree. Sentence date to be set.
Thomas William McCreary, 52, Romulus, was sentenced to 365 days with 3 days credit and 18 months probation for sex offender – failure to comply with registration act. He was ordered to pay $1,298 in costs and fines.
David Dudley Taylor, 23, Caro, pleaded guilty to two counts of controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (cocaine, heroin or another narcotic) 50-224 grams. Sentence date to be set.
Corey John Lewicki, 25, Caro, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – possession/ analogues – 2nd offense. Sentence date to be set. In a separate file, Lewicki pleaded guilty to police officer – fleeing – 3rd degree – vehicle code. Sentence date to be set.
Franklin Joseph Doyle, 33, Vassar, was sentenced to 365 days and 60 months probation for motor vehicle – operating a chop shop. He was ordered to pay $1,198 in costs and fines. Joshua James Weber, 34, Millington, pleaded no contest to second degree arson. Sentence date to be set.
Michael Wayne Curtis, 47, Vassar, pleaded guilty to controlled substance – delivery/ manufacture marijuana – 2nd offense. Sentence date to be set.
Dewey Eugene McKenziell, 32, Marlette, pleaded no contest to stolen property – receiving and concealing – $200 or more but less than $1,000 – 2nd offense. Sentence date to be set.
Jennifer Michelle Randall, 35, Caro, was sentenced to 365 days with 10 days credit and 36 months probation for two counts of breaking and entering a building with intent. She was ordered to pay $1,266 in costs and fines and $2,455.16 in restitution.
Justin Robert-John Brandon, 22, Vassar, pleaded guilty to motor vehicle – unlawful driving away; operating – license suspended, revoked, denied. Sentence date to be set.
Paul Taylor Rogers, 26, Millington, was sentenced to 90 days with 2 days credit for stolen property – receiving and concealing – $1,000 or more but less than $20,000; 90 days with 2 days credit for conspiracy to commit stolen property – receiving and concealing – $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.
