Glenda Joy Lewis passed away July 29, 2015 at the age of 73. She was born September 14, 1941 to the late Hugh “Glen” and Genevieve Zimmerman. She was a 1959 graduate of Vassar High School. She spent her career as a mental health care aide at the Wahjamega State Hospital. Upon retirement, she continued working at The Ridge and at Satchell’s Christian Retirement Home, both in Caro. She attended the Baptist Church in Caro and was a member of the Caro Community Garden Club. She enjoyed reading, gardening, watching Detroit Tiger Baseball, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her son, Larry Sanback of White Cloud and daughter, Linda Sanback and partner Darcy Little of Saginaw; sister, Mary (Aaron) Klouse of Millington; granddaughters, Nikki (Troy) Smith of Oxford, and Rebecca Sanback of Petoskey; nephews, Glen (Vicky) Mansfield of Saginaw and Erik (Jenny) Klouse and family of California; niece, Jennifer Klouse of Illinois; aunt, Bette Taylor of Sebewaing; uncle, Terry Long of Cape Girardeau MO; several cousins and extended family; good friends, Barb, Dorothy, Amore, Shirley, Betty, and Carl; and beloved puppy, Tucker. She was predeceased by her sister, Gail Mansfield. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 4-6 p.m. at the Anderson Enrichment Center Memorial Rose Garden, 120 Ezra Rust Dr., Saginaw, with a private family service to follow.
