Karon Rae Corl, age 66, passed away August 17, 2015 at the Medilodge of Cass City, MI. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, August 20, 2015, at the Mayville United Methodist Church, Mayville, with Pastor Terry Blackmere officiating. Family will receive visitors 2-8 PM on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Avram Funeral Home, Mayville, and from 10 AM until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Internment will be at Fremont Township Cemetery, at later date. Karon was born December 2, 1948 in Flint, to George and Donna (Shimel) Savoix. She married Jerry Corl May 28, 1993, in Caro. She loved her grandchildren, horse barrel racing, taking pictures, and spending time with friends and family. Karon is survived by her husband: Jerry of Caro, one son: James (Teresita) of Las Vegas, NV; one daughter-in-law, Kimberlee Corl of Mayville; one brother: George R. (Cheryl) Sovoix; two sisters: Janet Steen of Fl, and Susan (Charles) Stafford of AZ, five grandchildren: Edward (Belinda), Jennifer, Ashley, Nickee, and Emilee, two great-grandchildren: Mark and Thomas.
