Norma Hack of Caro, age 85, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro. She was born November 7, 1929 in Tawas City, the daughter of the late Charles R. and Charlotte V. (Brown) Monroe, and came to the Caro area at the age of ten. Norma was employed as an attendant nurse at the Caro Regional Center for twenty-five years, until her retirement. She enjoyed her home and family, and attended the Colwood United Brethren Church. Norma is survived by three children, Linda and Rick Smith of Caro, Gary Jones of Caro, Donna Foley of Fairgrove; grandchildren, Angela and Timothy Titus of Caro, Reggie and Tiffany Jones of Saginaw, Alyssa Foley of Caro, Brandon Foley of Fairgrove, Virginia Wisnewski of Michigan; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Emily Titus, Olivia, Onna, Katie and Kenley Jones; brothers and sisters, Russell Monroe of Fairgrove, Arlene Heinlein of Caro, Vickie Rosenberry of Lake City; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Delbert Monroe, Leona Cook, Ruth Ann Bragg and Donnie Monroe. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Colwood United Brethren Church in Caro with Pastor John D’Arcy officiating. In keeping with Norma’s wishes, cremation will follow the service. The family will be present to receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Norma Hack Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Linda Smith, 205 W.
