Arno Ernst Keinath, Millington

Arno Ernst Keinath of Millington, age 84, passed from our world into God’s Kingdom at his Millington residence early Tuesday August 25, 2015. Arno was the son of the late Winfred and Linda (Haubenstricker) Keinath, and was born on September 30, 1930. On June 9, 1956, Arno married Marian Weiss, she and Arno celebrated 54 years of marriage before Marian passed away in May of 2010, Arno retired in 1987 from Fisher Body Coldwater Road Plant of General Motors. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Arnao leaves his children: Timothy and Debie Keinath, Patty and Gary Williams, Dwight and Lorie Keinath, Roseann and Stanley Stricker, and a son-in-law Tony Kroska. He leaves also 12 grandchildren: Jonathan and Julie, Jenelle, Hannah, Nathan, Jared, Danielle, Seth, Ryan, Katie, Travis, and Zachary and Jacob, and also, two great-grandchildren: Braelynn and Emma. Arno leaves also his siblings: Eunice and Ralph Weiss, Betty Weiss, Gerald and Diane Keinath, Edna and Darryl McLaren, and Joan and Richard Hunt. His extended family: Loraine Weiss, Norman and Edna Weiss, Marion Weiss, Marvin and Lorraine Weiss, Hildegard Huber, Ellen and Henry Bender, Margaret Keinath, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Besides his parents and his wife, Arno is also preceded in death by a daughter, Diane (Keinath) Kroska in January of 2011. Also preceding Arno are his brothers: Clarence, Dale and Tom Keinath Sr. His extended family: Selma and Herbert Weiss, Art Weiss, Wilbur Weiss, Marie (Reinhold) Block, Andrew Weiss, Norman Huber, and Victor Weiss. The family received friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also at the St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday after 12:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at the St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 29. 2015. The burial will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Pastor James Bruner will deliver the funeral message and the committal prayer at the cemetery. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church general fund, or the building fund. Condolences, and memories can be shared at hanlinfuneralhome.com
