Mr. Perry J. Green Sr. of Millington passed away suddenly at his residence on Wednesday November 13, 2013, Perry was 54. Perry was the son of William Ray and Christina (Mathews) Green, and was born in Saginaw MI. on February 21, 1959. Perry was currently employed at Parkers Propane Company where he has been employed for the past19 years serving most recently as a Service Technician. Perry also served his community in many ways. He has served on the Millington Township Board for the past 13 years. While on the board Perry served on the planning commission for 10 years starting in 2003 until the present, and the Park and Recreation Board for one year. He enjoyed serving his community in these capacities. As a young man Perry served our country by serving in US-Army. Perry was an avid member of the NRA, he loved the great outdoors he loved to hunt, fish, and go camping. Perry loved cruising with Diane in his jeep, and the old Chevy. On August 9, 1980, Perry married Diane Willson and together Perry and Diane have celebrated 33 years of marriage.
Perry leaves to cherish his memory; wife Diane, two sons, and a daughter in-law; Perry and Kristin Green Jr., Allen Green, and girlfriend Kayla Jaremba, his parents William Ray and Christina Green, brother and sister in law Earl and Robyn Green, sisters; Loretta and husband Richard Grattop, Marion and husband Dan Detgen, Patty and husband Mike Ziegler, two brothers in law; Jeff and Jerry Willson, and father in law Dell and his wife Shirley Willson. Perry also leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Perry is preceded in death by daughter Wendy in 1987, nephew Earl Green Jr. in 2010, and mother and father in law Linda & James Crain. The family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Sunday November 17, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Funeral services will be held on Monday November 18, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Hanlin Funeral Home., Pastor Eric Stuart will deliver the funeral message and closing prayers at the cemetery. The burial will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. At the Cemetery services will be concluded with military honors conduct by the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Legion Post 164.If you would like to give a gift in remembrance of Perry you may do so to the Millington -Arbela Twp.
