CARO — The Caro Chamber of Commerce is looking to put a new face on the City of Caro.
Beginning this month, the Chamber, in cooperation with the City of Caro, Tuscola County Economic Development Corporation, Caro Community Schools and several area businesses, will begin the search for a logo that incorporates a new vision for the community.
To that end, a $500 award will be given to anyone in the community who can design a logo centered on the new keyword of the city, “Cultivate.” The search committee has several ideas on the usage of the logo that would be beneficial to interested designers, so a vision meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Caro Chamber of Commerce office, 429 North State Street, to provide guidance to those wishing to participate in the competition.
All designs are due by December 20, 2013, and will be judged with the designer name removed for impartiality by the Re-Branding Committee of the Chamber of Commerce.
