Margaret G. Iseler, age 95 of Mayville, MI died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at her home in Mayville, MI with her family at her side. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mayville, MI, with Pastor Terry Balogh officiating. Family will receive visitors 2-8 PM Saturday, November 23, 2013 and 2-8 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Avram Funeral Home, in Mayville, MI., and again 10 AM until time of service on Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Church Internment will be at the Rich Township Cemetery Suggested memorials St. Paul Lutheran Church and The Mayville Fire Dept. Margaret was born August 5,1918 in Mayville, MI. to Herman and Gertrude (Shippey) Hormel. She graduated from Mayville High School in 1936. Margaret married Durell Iseler on February 24, 1940 in Caro, MI. She was a teacher and retired from Mayville Schools in 1975. Margaret was the oldest member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Her hobbies were reading and gardening, she also enjoyed being with her family, playing cards and having good times with family and friends. She is survived by two children: Timothy Iseler of Oxford, OH., and Beth Ann (Raymond) Karnes of Melborne, FL., one sister: Elaine Fox of Livonia, MI, daughter-in-law Kris Iseler of Mayville, MI, three grand children: Matthew and Phillip Iseler and Jennifer Dinsmore, eight great grand children: Gavin, Noah, Ryan, Katelyn, Kealsie, Olive, Gabbrella and Samuel, and special companion Angel. She was preceded in death by her husband: Durell in 2002, two brothers, Maurice and Ronald Hormel, 2 sisters: Betty Chriscinske, and Donna Louks.
