Andrew Lewis Toth, of Unionville, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at the Huron County Medical care Facility in Bad Axe. Andrew was born November 6, 1926 to the late Andrew Lewis Tooth, Sr. & Julia (LaTour) Toth in Merrill, MI. He is a WWII Airforce veteran. After the Airforce he married Carol Jean. She passed away in 1997. He married Catherine (O’Henley) Toth June 21, 2005 in Saginaw. He retired after 17 years of service for Michigan Sugar as the Chief Engineer. He had his pilot’s license and was building an airplane. He was a member of the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association). Andrew was very devoted to his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Catherine “Kay” Toth of Unionville; children: Jeanne Ballard of Bay City, Susan Hasha of Woodstock, GA and Caroline Toth of Bay City; sisters: Clara Mitchell of Gladwin and Mary Pretzer of Hemlock; brother, John Toth of Houston, TX; four grandchildren: Winnifred, Sarah, Dennis and Jennifer; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Jean Toth in 1997 and his son, Andrew L Toth, III “Bucky” in 1969. Visitation is Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 1-5pm. The funeral service will be Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12noon until the time of service at 1pm. Burial will take place privately at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove Twp.
