Sharon E. Guinther, 76, of Caro, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 in Marlette Regional Hospital Extended Care Unit. She was born March 17, 1937 in Pontiac to Charles and Elizabeth (Aune) Wright. She married Roger Duane Guinther March 26, 1955. He died October 2, 1985. Sharon worked for a short time for Evans Products in Gagetown. She had her own business of processing poultry for six years and was a talented seamstress for many years. Sharon also enjoyed many types of crafts including quilting and painting lawn ornaments. Sharon is survived by her children: Diane (Donald) Begeman of Caro; Jeffrey (Chris) Guinther of Croswell, Dennis Guinther of Caro, Daniel (Kathy) Guinther of Mayville; grandchildren: Gary (Tammy) Begeman, Jason Begeman, Kevin Begeman, Tammy Begeman, Ashley Guinther; great grandchildren: Elijah, Alexander and Evelyn; brothers: Dalbert (Nancy) Wright of Cass City, Phillip (Shirley) Wright of Arizona; sisters: Kathy (Robert) McPhail of Cass City, Carol (Bill) Benjamin of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Teresa; brothers: James Wright, Charles Wright, Richard Wright, John Wright, Robert Wright; sisters: Laura Manerino, Gladys Jones, Darlene Peters. Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery.
