Acita Louise Grice of Caro, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014.  Mrs. Grice was born in Gera, near Frankenmuth, on January 17, 1921 to Louis Geyer & Milda Kaul. She was united in marriage with Arold Devere Grice of Caro on May 27, 1945 in Unionville.  Arold preceded her in death in 2005.  They lived on East Gun Club Road. She was a homemaker and loved to put together artificial flower arrangements.  She was always pleasantly dressed for the occasion and adorned with fanciful jewelry.  She was especially noted as a thoughtful and prolific letter writer to friends and relatives.  Her cordial letters usually included clipped articles on relevant subjects.  Acita was a most gracious host to all who visited her.  She loved cruising the town and countryside with her chauffer, Arold.  She was best noted as the family keeper of memorabilia. Acita is survived by three children, Kim R. Grice of Westminister, Colorado, Trent A. Grice of Caro, Lynette A. Trudeau and husband, Tom, of Caro; eight grandchildren, Troy A. Grice, Derric Becker, Rodney Grice, April Grice-Thompson, Trevor Grice, Travis Grice, Kevin Trudeau, Taryn Grice; and one step-granddaughter, Rawnee Trudeau.  Acita also had eight great-grandchildren whom she loved to get visits from or recent snapshots; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Van Guilder and Marie Geyer; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Geyer; and a sister, Lois Reinhardt.  The funeral will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro with Pastor Cameron Steele officiating on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Burial will be held at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or St. Paul Lutheran Church Parking Lot Fund. The family was assisted with these arrangements by the Ransford Collon Funeral Home of Caro.  Friends may share memories, thoughts and prayers online at www.Ransfor dCollon.com.
