CARO — A benefit is scheduled for 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Caro High School cafeteria for Pam Jaster who is battling cancer.
The benefit features a pancake supper, and the menu includes pancakes, sausage links and drinks. Take-outs are available, cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children younger than 12 and free for children under 3. Besides the supper, there will also be a silent auction 4 to 8:30 p.m.

Jaster is a life-long Caro area resident. She is employed at Hills and Dales Center for Rehabilitation. In November 2013, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer.
According to organizers and those who know Jaster, she enjoys spending her free time with her children and grandchildren, and any help in assisting her with this financial hardship would be greatly appreciated.
