Mary Luella Clink of Caro, age 87, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2014 at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw, following a brief illness. She was born July 16, 1926 in Kingston Township, the daughter of the late George F. and Florence R. (Silvernail) Curry. Mary was united in marriage with Edward Clink in August of 1946, and he preceded her in death on February 3, 1987. Mary was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed the TCT channel and supporting it financially, and collecting Coke items. Most of all she loved visits from her family, especially her great-grandchildren. During her working years, Mary was employed at Michigan Sugar Company, Hill’s Slaughter House, and retired from Active Homes in Marlette. Mary is survived by three children and their spouses, Larry & Nonee Clink of Caro, Rilla & Gil Burns of Cass City, Randy & Doreen Clink of Caro; twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; three siblings and their spouses, Loretta & Bill Hacker, Leon & Juanita Trisch, Harland & Leah Trisch. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two daughters, Judy Clink and Geri Dibble; a grandson, Jon Clink; and two brothers, Robert Trisch and Lyle Curry. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2014 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Pastor Len Wyatt officiating.
