Pretrial is April 28 and preliminary exam is May 5.
Donald Lee Smith Jr., 50, Cass City, is charged with 20 counts of criminal sexual conduct – 3rd degree (person 13-15); pretrial is April 28 and preliminary exam is May 5. In a separate case, Smith is charged with criminal sexual conduct – first degree (personal injury); 14 counts of criminal sexual conduct – 3rd degree (person 13-15); and six counts of criminal sexual conduct – 4th degree – victim between 13-16. Pretrial is April 28 and preliminary exam is May 5.
Tyler Lee Martin, 25, Millington, is charged with controlled substance – possession of marijuana; operating – license suspended/revoked/denied; and license plate/registration/title – unlawful use. Pretrial was April 21 and preliminary is April 28.

Jonathan Wayne Schlict, 24, Vassar, pled no contest to child abuse – 4th degree. Sentence date to be set.
Jonathan Leonard Kruchko, 25, Millington, was sentenced to 12 months delayed and ordered to pay $1,198 fines and costs for controlled substance – possession of marijuana.
Joshua Raymond Potterf, 32, Mayville, was sentenced to 180 days, credit for 0 days, 24 months probation, and ordered to pay $2,085 fines, costs and restitution for malicious destruction of police or fire property and two counts of police officer – assaulting/resisting/ obstructing.
Natasha Leigh Nickens, 25, Caro, was sentenced to 12 months delayed and ordered to pay $648 fines and costs for interfering with electronic communication and domestic violence.
Tyler Lee Swadling, 20, Millington, was sentenced to 12 months delayed and ordered to pay $1,698 fines and costs for controlled substance – possession of marijuana – 2nd or subsequent offense.
Michelle Ann Gotts, 40, Caro, was sentenced to 12 months delayed and ordered to pay $1,148 fines and costs for tampering with evidence and lying to a peace officer – four year or more crime investigation.
Sherri Kay Fall, 45, Vassar, pled guilty to failure to return rented property – $1,000 or more but less than $20,000. Sentence date to be set.
Brandon Hugh Knight, 23, Richville, was sentenced to 12 months delayed for larceny in a building; 90 days deferred, credit for 5 days and 12 months probation for larceny – $200 or more but less than $1,000. He was ordered to pay $1,448 fines and costs and $350 restitution.
Melvin Ray Ruppert, 44, Caro, was sentenced to 12 months delayed and ordered to pay $1,308 fines and costs for controlled substance – delivery/manufacture of marijuana and controlled substance – possession of marijuana.
Charley Combs, 55, Gagetown, was sentenced to 365 days deferred, credit for 29 days, 24 months probation and ordered to pay $398 fines and costs for controlled substance – possession of marijuana – 2nd or subsequent offense. In a separate case, Combs was sentenced to 365 days deferred, credit for 9 days, and ordered to pay $898 fines and costs for controlled substance – possession of marijuana – 2nd or subsequent offense.
Daniel Vern Williams, 31, Akron, was sentenced to 12 months probation, and ordered to pay $1,198 fines and costs and $1,067.46 restitution for malicious destruction of personal property – $1,000 or more but less than $20,000.
Randall Lynn Hessler, 51, Akron, pled guilty to operating while intoxicated – 3rd offense and failure to report an accident. Sentence date to be set.
