TUSCOLA COUNTY — Two single-vehicle accidents over the weekend in Tuscola County kept law enforcement busy.
At about 6 p.m., Friday, the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department responded to a rollover accident on Plain Road near Phelps Lake Road in Dayton Township
According to the police report, Shayla Deibert, 25, from North Branch had been pinned in her vehicle for hours before the accident was discovered.
Deibert told officers a deer jumped in front of her at around 1 a.m. and she went into the ditch and rolled over said the report.
She was taken to Hills and Dales General Hospital in Cass City for treatment.
Then at about 4:52 p.m., Sunday, a motorcycle accident was reported on M-25 near Bradford Road in Wisner Township.
According to the report from the Michigan State Police – Caro Post, Tina M. Cilc, 51, of Milan, was traveling eastbound when she lost control of the motorcycle she was driving on the uneven highway while attempting to pass a vehicle. The motorcycle left the roadway and tipped over on the gravel along the shoulder of the road.
The sections of M-25 are uneven because it is being repaved.
Cilc was taken by to McLaren – Bay Medial Center in Bay City by ambulance.
