DISTRICT COURT

Trevor Wayne Wichman, 17, Troy, is charged with home invasion – first degree; and assault or assault and battery. Pretrial is September 22 and preliminary exam is September 29.

Newt James Delong, 18, Silverwood, is charged with weapons – firearms – discharge from vehicle; weapon – firearms – possession of a loaded firearm in or upon a vehicle; lying to a peace officer – four year or more crime investigation; two counts of weapons – felony firearms; two counts of wildlife conservation part – taking deer/bear/turkeys; and wildlife conservation – taking game from a vehicle. Pretrial is September 22 and preliminary exam is September 29.

Shawn Joseph Barclay, 43, Lapeer, is charged with operating while intoxicated – third offense; operating – license suspended, revoked, denied; alcohol – open container in vehicle. Pretrial is September 22 and preliminary exam is September 29.

Brett Gregory Lackie, 33, Caro, is charged with two counts of sex offender – failure to comply with registration act – third or subsequent offense. Pretrial is September 22 and preliminary exam is September 29.

Sheila Elaine Stewart, 58, Cass City, is charged with three counts of identity theft. Pretrial is September 22 and preliminary exam is September 29.

Travis Royce Bullinton, 24, Flint, is charged with controlled substance – possession of analogues; controlled substance – possession of marijuana; and operating – license suspended, revoked, denied. Pretrial is September 22 and preliminary exam is September 29.

Scott Louis Brown, 51, Vassar, is charged with operating while intoxicated – third offense; operating – license suspended, revoked, denied; and failure to report accident. Pretrial is September 17 and preliminary exam is September 22.

Robert Daniel Ellis, 47, Sebewaing, is charged with operating while intoxicated – third offense; operating – license suspended, revoked, denied; motorcycles/mopeds – operating without endorsement. Pretrial is September 22 and preliminary exam is September 29.

Carl Frederick Yens, 60, Silverwood, is charged with controlled substance – delivery/manufacture of marijuana – 2nd or subsequent offense; seven counts of weapons – firearms – possession by a felon; eight counts of weapons – felony firearms; and controlled substance – possession of marijuana – 2nd or subsequent offense. Preliminary exam is September 29.

CIRCUIT COURT

Matthew Wayne LaPratt, 36, Mayville, was sentenced to three concurrent sentences of 365 days, credit for 2, 60 months probation including 365 days on SCRAM tether, 480 hours community service and ordered to pay $3,634 fines and costs for police officer – fleeing – 3rd degree – vehicle code; operating while intoxicated – third offense; and police officer – assaulting/resisting/obstructing.

Scott Anderson Bedell, 44, Vassar, was sentenced to 365 days, credit for 3, 180 days jail time and the rest deferred, 24 months probation, 750 hours community service and ordered to pay $448 for animals – fighting and animals – attending fight.

Tre-Shawn Tomorrow Visnaw, 27, Kingston, was sentenced to 93 days delayed, credit for 11 days, 24 months probation and ordered to pay $1,228 fines and costs, restitution to be determined, for assault with a dangerous weapon (felonious assault) and domestic violence.

Skyler Kenneth-William King, 20, Vassar, was sentenced to concurrent 180-day and 365-day sentences, credit for 84 days, and 24 months probation for weapons – carrying concealed; controlled substance – possession of marijuana; and weapons – firearms – improper possession of a firearm in or upon a motor vehicle.

Kerry Lynn Adkins, 39, Otter Lake, received a 12-month delay of sentence and ordered to pay $902 fines and costs and $1,961.72 restitution for two counts of uttering and publishing and two counts of forgery.

Randall Harvie Vincent, 58, Vassar, was sentenced to 120 days deferred, credit for 1 day, 60 months probation and ordered to pay $3,598 fines and costs for operating while intoxicated – 3rd offense.

Brian Adam Maskell, 27, Caro, was given a 12-month delay of sentence and ordered to pay $998 fines and costs for interfering with electronic communication.

Scott Allen Kennedy Jr., 24, Bay City, was sentenced to 240 days, credit for 130 days, 60 months probation and ordered to pay $3,098 for stalking – aggravated.

Jose Elias Nazario, 35, Pontiac, pled no contest to controlled substance – possession of marijuana and operating while intoxicated. Sentence date to be set.
