Paul Edward Kittles passed away September 7, 2014 at the age of 85 at Covenant Cooper Hospital in Saginaw. Paul was born April 23 1929 in Wheelemburg, Ohio. Preceding Paul’s death are his parents Jess and Laura June “Hunter” Kittles; his brothers Bob, Marvin, Ralph, Charles and Ryland; his in-laws Ralph and Thelma “Chapel” Shurlow, his wife Delores of forty-seven years. Surviving Paul is Robin Kittles, daughter, of Watrousville and a sister Vera “Kittles” Chapel of Waterford. John & Joan “Shurlow” Graham of Caro and Pastor Richard & Janet “Shurlow” Lashley of Sun City Arizona, and many nieces and nephews. Paul served in the Korean War. After his service, he came to Michigan and worked at Pontiac Motors. He met his wife Del and they were married on May 11, 1957 in Caro at the Shurlow home. In 1958, they moved to Caro. Paul went to work for the Caro Community School as a custodian and retired in 1986. Paul enjoyed his work, the students and teachers. He appreciated the ones who have been friends over the years. Paul loved God, his family, his church, and enjoyed fishing. He helped many people and was always joking and full of fun. He is truly missed and we are thankful for Paul’s life. Memorials may be given to the Vassar Nazarene Church and Robin Kittles, 2061 1st Street, Vassar, MI 48768. The family thanks the Ransford and Collon Funeral home for arrangements and their help.
