Jack Skrutsky of Caro, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Covenant Health Care – Harrison in Saginaw. He was born July 23, 1942 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Anthony and Stephanie (Krulikowski) Skrutsky. Jack was a manager at Radio Communications. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and woodworking. Jack is survived by his wife, Sheila; one daughter, Kimberly DeBerry of Erie, Pennsylvania; one granddaughter, Ashley DeBerry of Erie, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Rosemarie “Babe” and Sam Hayes, and Lorraine Oster, all of Erie, Pennsylvania; and one brother, Tony Skrutsky of Erie, Pennsylvania. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Cookie Skrutsky; and one brother-in-law, Carl Oster. In keeping with Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Caro with Rev. Cameron Steele officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday at the time of service. There will also be a memorial service held in Erie, Pennsylvania at a later date.
