Ferris Graham of Caro, age 91, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Covenant Health Care – Harrison in Saginaw. He was born March 5, 1922 in Almer Township, the son of the late Roy and Emma (Muck) Graham. Ferris was united in marriage with the former Joyce Vandemark on June 23, 1951 in Caro. He was a self-employed farmer his entire life and also drove bulk truck for Farm Bureau and retired as a truck driver with the Tuscola County Road Commission. Ferris liked antique gas engines and tractors, and as a result was one of the originators of the Tuscola County Old Engine & Tractor Show. Ferris and Joyce enjoyed wintering in Florida for over thirty years. Ferris is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Joyce; their two children, Patricia Smith of Caro, and Randy (Glenda) Graham of Eustis, FL; two grandchildren, Chad (Christine Jakab) Smith of Chicago, IL, and Jill (Rich) Priestley of Ann Arbor; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Natalie Priestley; one brother-in-law, Eugene (Nellie) Vandemark of Essexville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Rev. Ray Karr officiating. Burial will follow at Indianfields Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to their own favorite charity.
