CHARLEY LILLIAN HENDRICK-GAILEY

Caro

Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye to our little princess, Charley Lillian Hendrick-Gailey, who was carried to heaven by her dad on Friday, November 21, 2014. Charley was born April 10, 2014 in Saginaw, the daughter of Amanda Lynn Hendrick and the late Daryne Andrew Gailey. Her time here was limited to only seven months, but Charley’s constant smile will be forever remembered by those blessed enough to have known her. She had only recently uttered her first few words, but could communicate with her beautiful eyes that seemed to change with her mood. Charley was known to dance in her ExerSaucer at the first sound of music and loved playing with her dog, Gator. She will spend her first Christmas in heaven, but leaves her family with the timeless image of her recent visit to see Santa Claus. Charley is survived by her mother, Amanda Lynn Hendrick of Caro; her grandparents, Max Hendrick of Saginaw, Laura and Jeff Nowlen of Caro, Tim and Janice Finley of Kingston, Andrew Gailey of Huntington Woods; great-grandparents, Dale and Janice Smith of Akron, John and Betty Romaine of Lapeer, John Ferkowicz, Sr. of Silverwood; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth Finley of Davison, Joseph Harrington of Caro, Robert Finley of Kingston, Tracy and Donald McLeod of Caro, Matthew Hendrick of Caro, Carly Gailey of Aspen, Colorado, Dora and Seth Wagner of Aspen, Colorado, Eli Gailey of Huntington Woods; and many extended family members.  She was preceded in death by an uncle, Timothy Finley, Jr.; great-grandmother, Cathy Martin; great-grandfather, Morris Hendrick, Sr.; and a great-uncle, Brett Hendrick. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Colwood United Brethren in Christ Church in Caro with Rev. Dr. Jason Garwood and Pastor Josh Whipple officiating.  Burial will follow at Novesta Township Cemetery in Cass City.  The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Amanda Hendrick, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723. The family was assisted with these arrangements by the Ransford Collon Funeral Home of Caro.  Friends may share memories, thoughts and prayers online at www.RansfordCollon.com.
