MILLINGTON — Area volunteers have teamed together this holiday season to bring money to the Millington Food Pantry and Millington Needy Families campaign.

Volunteers have been ringing bells at Millington businesses including PNC bank, Fairway Discount Store and Rosati’s Marketplace. Ringers will be out today through mid-December, said organizer Jody Dean. Ringers have been collecting donations since mid-November.

Dean said that the number of days will depend on the number of volunteers willing to assist.

“We will be donating whatever we collect to the food pantry and the Millington Needy Families,” Dean said. “I was really hoping this would be a big thing this year (as a part of the Christmas in the Village 25th anniversary celebration).”

For information or to volunteer, contact Jody Dean at (989) 871-3948.
