Travis Andrew Pouliot of Caro, age 33, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at his home. He was born August 7, 1980 in Caro, and although limited physically his entire life, his ability to touch the lives of everyone around him proved to be limitless. He attended Highland Pines School, graduating in 2006, and also attended the Personal Independence Center in Caro where he enjoyed the time spent with caregivers and friends on “Team United”. Travis loved music and being around his family and friends. Travis is survived by his loving parents, Bill and Donna Pouliot of Caro; two sisters and their spouses, Aimee & Dean Buggia of Williamston, and Nicole & Chris Bondsteel of Mason; one niece, Annabel Rose Buggia of Williamston; his grandmother, Alice Pouliot of Caro; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ervin Vollrath, Rose Vollrath and Walter Pouliot. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 30, at Caro United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregg Mayberry officiating. A committal will follow in the Caro United Methodist Church Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Travis’ family would like to extend a personal thank you to those who have helped care for and nurture him throughout his life. He was so blessed to have had such giving people bring him so much joy over the years.
