Debra Ann Eremia, age 59, of Unionville, passed away January 1, 2015, at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family as she went to be with her Heavenly Father. Debra was born November 12, 1955, in Pigeon to the late Stanley John Pobanz and Betty Mae (Finkbeiner) Pobanz. She was always on the go as she loved to spend time with family and friends. Such as attending many events her grandchildren were in, going to garage sales, eating out and shopping. If nothing else was planned, she would come up with her own unique ways of getting everyone together. She was a hard worker and dedicated her life to raising her family and helping others. She retired after 27 years at Covenant Healthcare in Saginaw. She volunteered for the ACW ambulance for 28 years. She was a member of the Unionville United Methodist Church. Debbie was a model of strength, generosity and she has left us with a lasting legacy. Debra is survived by her children: Melissa (Mark) Linzner, Gregory (Joanne) Eremia and Stacey Gemmell; grandchildren: Marissa, Morgan, Landen, Cadee, Hailey, Madelyn and Kayla; siblings: Connie Howard, Sharon (Timothy) Roberts and Janice (the late Thomas “Porky”); Aunt and Uncle, Grace and Clare Finkbeiner; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation was Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 1-8 pm. The service was Monday, January 5, 2015, at the funeral home. Visitation began at 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sebewaing. Memorials may be made to the family discretionary fund or the donor’s choice.
