TUSCOLA COUNTY — The Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Murphy Lake Road and Sheridan Road in Millington Township about 11:36 a.m., Saturday.
“Officers found that a vehicle driven by Alexander Dureich, 52, of Oscoda, was traveling southbound on Sheridan Road, and turned too wide to head west on Murphy Lake Road,” explained Undersheriff Glen Skrent.
As Dureich was turning, he struck a vehicle driven by Marilyn Eberlein, 58, of Millington that was stopped for the eastbound stop sign.
“Both drivers were injured along with a passenger in the Eberlein vehicle,” said Skrent.
The sheriff’s department was assisted by the Vassar Police, Millington Fire Department, MMR and Fabbro’s wrecker.
