Robert W. Hebner 71 passed away Sunday morning Feb. 15, 2015 at Genesys Medical Center after a long courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born February 10, 1944 in Bad Axe, MI to Howard and Grace (Pitcher) Hebner. On Ocotber 24, 1970 he married Sheila Berry. Bob was a truck driver for Super Foods (Nash Finich) for 37 years before retiring to do his favorite pastime ~ farming and raising cattle. He served in the Michigan National Guard. His survivors include his wife, Sheila, sons and “daughters” Corey and Joan and Scott and Christy; his treasured grandchildren Kyle, Derek, and Nara; sister and brother inlaw Carole and Mike Titsworth, brothers and sisters in-law Phil and Lynne, and Richard and Lisa; nieces and nephews Kathy Titsworth, Jeff and Kristin Titsworth, Greg and Marlene Hebner Ryan Hebner; Aunts Aganes Moran and Alma Pitcher; extended family Mother in-law Nilah Berry, sister in-law Sherrill Burrill, niece and nephew, Nicole and Chris Bowman: great nieces and nephews Michael, Isaac, Dominic, Jacob, Haley and Nathaniel: special friends Dale and Carla Kowitz, and family and Jeremy and Christine Fitch and family and those who knew him. Bob was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Howard and Grace and Father In-law, Guiles Berry. Friends may call at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington Thursday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and also on Friday morning from 10:00 am until services begin. Funeral services for Bob will be on Friday February 20, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Hanlin Funeral Home; Pastor James Bruner will deliver the funeral message and closing prayer. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church, a charity of one’s choice or to a charity for the benefit of children or animals.
