Rebecca Jane Frank, Caro

Rebecca Jane Frank of Caro, formerly of Middleburg, Florida, age 87, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Community in Caro, following a lengthy illness.  She was born January 17, 1928 in Columbia Township, the daughter of the late Jeffrey and Beatrice (Gostick) Fader. The former Rebecca Fader was united in marriage with John Frank on October 13, 1951, and after more than fifty-four years of marriage, John preceded her in death on June 25, 2006.  She was employed by the Moore Telephone Company as a telephone operator and later as a Mary Kay consultant. Rebecca enjoyed working in her flowers, garage sale shopping and enjoyed all of her family.  She especially enjoyed being a mom and grandmother. Rebecca was a longtime member of the Caro United Methodist Church and recently attended her son’s church, the Cornerstone Christian Center in Bridgeport.  The Frank’s lived their early married life in Caro, moved to Middleburg, Florida in 2002, with Rebecca returning in 2006.  Rebecca is survived by three children and their spouses, Bruce & Peggy Frank of Greencove Springs, Florida, Pastor Kim & Tammy Frank of Vassar, and Pam & Dave Howden of Middleburg, Florida; seven grandchildren, Angie & David Chandler of East Grand Rapids, Rachael & John Johnson of Cass City, Heather & Jon Schnittker of Caro, Brandon & Dana Frank of Vassar, Nicole & Jeremy Hicks of Radcliff, Kentucky, Corey & Katheryn Howden of Caro, and Nick Howden of Middleburg, Florida; nine great-grandchildren, Alice Nash, Amelia Chandler, Ellery Chandler, Madison Frank, Ronan Johnson, Kaylee Hicks, Claire Schnittker, Pier Hicks, Jared Frank, with Tommy John Frank about to arrive in June; one sister, Wilma Clink of California; one brother, Rudy Fader and his wife, Ruby, of Caro; sister-in-law, Rose Fader of Caro; brother-in-law, Ron Gibbs of Caro; and will be forever loved and missed by several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, Rebecca was preceded in death by an infant son, Brian; one sister, Virginia Gibbs; and three brothers, Dick Fader and twin brothers, Lee and infant, Leon, Fader.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Cornerstone Christian Center, 6674 Junction Road, Bridgeport, MI with Pastor Kim Frank officiating.  Burial will follow at Almer Township Cemetery in Caro.  The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Rebecca Frank Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Kim Frank, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.  The family was assisted with these arrangements by the Ransford Collon Funeral Home of Caro.  Friends may share memories, thoughts and prayers online at www.RansfordCollon.com.
