TUSCOLA COUNTY — Law enforcement agencies are looking for help in apprehending a person or persons involved in a crime spree in the northern part of Tuscola County.
Tuscola County Sheriff Deputies and other agencies responded to numerous complaints of larceny of items from vehicles in Unionville and also the Wisner Township area last week.
“The first reports that came in happened Wednesday night Sept. 11th, and then again during last weekend,” said Undersheriff Glen Skrent.
According to Skrent, some of the items stolen include: purses, wallets, phones, rings, cash, credit cards and other items.
“Two rifles that had been taken from vehicles have been recovered in the area,” said Skrent.
“Most of the vehicles had been left unlocked.”
Anyone with information on those crimes is asked to contact Deputy James Hook at (989) 673-8161 ex 2232.
