Mary Burnette, Caro

Mary Burnette of Caro, age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at her home. She was born August 10, 1950 in Caruthersville, Missouri, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Dutcher) Davidson, and moved to Michigan when she was 14, living in Columbiaville. Mary graduated from Cass City High School and moved to Caro in the mid-1980s. She worked for more than thirty-two years at TI Automotive, formerly Walbro Corporation, retiring in June of 2014. Mary enjoyed a good Diet Pepsi, yard sales, reading psychic books, visiting psychics, and eating out, especially Applebee’s and the Oasis. Mary is survived by three children, Sandy Vliet Brossoit of Caro, Ron Vliet and his friend, Vicki Horton, of Flint, Becky Beggs and her husband, Dennis, of Akron; nine grandchildren, Steven and Zoe Yenglin, Callista Yenglin, Karisa Elie, Kenson and Jenny Vliet, Eric Vliet, Joshua Elie, Adrian Vliet, Alivia Beggs and Ashlyn Vliet; two great-grandchildren, Layla Richardson and Liam Elie; one brother, Tom Davidson; three sisters, Betty Rupright, Pat Harris and Jeannie Wynn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Raymond Davidson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with Pastor Felix Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. The family will be present to receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Mary Burnette Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Sandy Brossoit, 205 West Sherman St., Caro, MI 48723.
