Ruth Ann Burrows, age 67, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2013 at White Pines Rehabilitation Center in Farmington Hills. She was born July 20, 1946 in Sandusky, the daughter of Agnes (Killingbeck) and the late Ralph Fulsher. She grew up in Taylor, and married Ken Burrows in Gilford. He preceded her in death. Ruth lived in Gilford until moving to Caro in her later years. She worked at the Half Way Truck Stop in Vassar, the Bavarian Inn, and was a homemaker. Ruth attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Saginaw. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, and beading. Ruth Ann is survived by four children, Dawn (Johnnie) Carpenter of Caro, Marina (Thomas) Boadway of Holly, Edward Bates of Caro, and David (Judy) Bates of Caro; several grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Ray (Lucy) Capaldi of Taylor, Bonita (Joseph) Darkangelo of Northville, Rosemary Greer of Waterford, Joyce (Lee) Cook of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home.
