Brian D. Lavery of Deford, age 53, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his home. He was born July 9, 1962 in Grand Rapids, the son of Rosalie (Payne) King and the late Duane Lavery. Brian served in the U.S. Air Force for twelve years, being discharged in 1992. He was united in marriage with the former Danielle Sheridan on October 8, 1988 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. He was employed as a truck driver for Jeff Schaller Transport, Inc. of Imlay City. Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing and the out-of-doors. He is survived by his wife, Danielle Lavery of Deford; two daughters, Maggie Rose Lavery, a Junior in the Nursing Program at Oakland University and Molly Anne Lavery, living at home and a Junior at Kingston High School; his mother, Rosalie King of Caro; one sister, Tami Aten of Grand Rapids; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Brian was preceded in death by one sister, Janet Lavery. A private family gathering was held at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro with military honors provided by the Caro American Legion Post 7 and the U.S. Air Force.
