The students of Highland Pines School’s Music Therapy program treated a crowd of about 150 to a Winter Concert on Thursday afternoon, featuring performances by the school’s chime choir as well as Christmas favorites sung by various ensembles of students.
Music Therapist Stacy Reno accompanied many of the songs on piano, as students performed familiar tunes like We Three Kings, Frosty the Snowman, O Christmas Tree and even Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.
“We are very fortunate to have Stacy Reno as our music therapist,” Highland Pines MOCI teacher Tina Diaz said, “she is a shining star.”
