LEE “BUTCH” FADER, Caro

Lee “Butch” Fader of Caro, age 71, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro, following a lengthy illness.  He was born June 20, 1942 in Caro, the son of the late Jeffrey and Beatrice (Gostick) Fader.  Butch was united in marriage with the former Rosemarie Stakolosa on September 21, 1968 at the Sutton Sunshine United Methodist Church in Caro.  He was employed as a mechanic and carpenter and retired from the weatherization department with Human Development Commission in 2001.  He was a member of the Methodist faith and the Caro Moose Lodge.  He made birdhouses, was a race car driver, and enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, yard work, and picking morels and raspberries. He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Rose; three children, Richard Stakolosa (Heidi Clayton) of Vassar, Wendy Ralston of Caro, Robert Lee (Stephenie) Fader of Caro; nine grandchildren, Levi, Jacob, Anthony, Kayleigh, DJ, Alyssa, Allison, Zoey and Harley; one brother, Rudy (Ruby) Fader of Caro; two sisters, Rebecca Frank of Caro and Wilma Clink of California; four brother-in-laws, Ron, Paul, Gordon and Johnny; two sister-in-laws, Mary Ann and Karen; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Gibbs; and two brothers, Dick Fader; his infant twin brother, Leon; his son-in-law, Greg Ralston; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and June Stakolosa.  In keeping with Butch’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Caro Moose Lodge with nephew, Kim Frank officiating.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Fader Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Rose Fader, 205 W.
