KINGSTON — There were some tense moments after the Tuscola County Sheriff’s Department issued a press release Friday of a possible attempted abduction in the village of Kingston.
On Thursday, two boys, ages 10 and 12 years old, reported they were approached by a male suspect who allegedly tried to grab one of the boys.
However during a follow up investigation of the incident on Friday by the department, the situation changed.
“After further investigation by the detectives at the sheriff’s office, we have the determined that the complaint was unfounded,” stated Undersheriff Glen Skrent.
