Dale Osmun Crisp of Kingston, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Covenant Health Care – Harrison in Saginaw. Dale was born December 2, 1938 in Pontiac, the son of the late Kenneth and Lila (Niergarth) Crisp. Dale was united in marriage with the former Karen N. Hefner on February 19, 1966 in Bloomfield Hills. He was a retired Creative Director and Copywriter and was formerly employed at the Oakland Press in Pontiac, Banker & Brisbois Advertising in Detroit and Birmingham, and Canadian American Advertising in Flint. Dale’s hobbies included Corvettes, antiques, home restoration and photography. Most importantly, he enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren. Dale is survived by his wife, Karen Crisp of Kingston; one son, Steven & Nicole Crisp of Owosso; two daughters, Jennifer Gilley & Don Ball of Cass City, Laura Crisp of Brooklyn, New York; two grandsons, Dylan Gilley of Cass City, Charleston Crisp of Owosso; one sister and her husband, Norma & Robert Bennett of Peacock Corners, Pennsylvania; two sisters-in-law, Nancy & Robert Davidson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lauren Hefner of Reston, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
