Passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 21, 2014; age 38 years. Scott was born on February 13, 1976 in Saginaw, MI to John and Janice Krumnauer. He was married to Patricia Shimer on May 26, 2006, she survives him. Master Sergeant Scott Krumnauer was currently serving on active duty for the US Army. He served numerous locations across the United States and overseas to include South Korea, Cuba, and most recently Afghanistan. Scott was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, and VFW Post 2725.
Surviving besides his wife and parents are; 2 children, Kayleigh Krumnauer, and Kyle Krumnauer both of Saginaw, MI; 2 brothers, Michael (Tillie) Krumnauer of Vassar, MI, and Jason Krumnauer of Vassar, MI; 1 niece and 2 nephews, Kadyn, Kase, and Jayme; mother- and father-in-law, Robert (Brigitte) Shimer of KY; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents; Gilbert and Elenor Trinklein, and John and Marguerite Krumnauer.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 3, 2014 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church; Rev. Mark D. Brandt will officiate with cremation to follow. Scott’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
