Lawrence Andrew Thrall, 76, of Kingston, died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Sanilac Medical Care Facility in Sandusky, Michigan. He was born July 10, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Clarence and Beatrice (Greenleaf) Thrall. He was a lifelong area resident and a 1955 graduate of Sandusky High School. Lawrence married Billie Scherping on August 27, 1976 in Au Gres, MI. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church and the Allegro RV & Motorhome Club. Lawrence retired from Saginaw Steering Gear after 35 years of service. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycles and Classic Cars. He is survived by his wife Billie, Mark Thrall (son) of Sandusky, Mary & James Ostrand (daughter) of Snover, Charles Scherping (brother-in-law) of Charlevoix, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky. Pastor Debra Brown officiated. Burial was in the Moshier Cemetery in Hemans.
