David Allen Lentner, age 62, of Sebewaing, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014. He was born February 14, 1952 to the late John and Helen (Quick) Lentner in Pigeon. Dave married Patricia E. (Lorentz) Haag on October 11, 2002 in Bad Axe. Dave was a self employed truck driver, leased to Landstar Ranger in Jacksonville, Florida since 1994. He always wanted to go on long trips, which in 2007, earned him the “Million Mile” award. He lived and breathed driving truck and died working on “Lulubell”, a job he claimed to hate, but could always find something that needed updating or repaired. He is survived by his wife, Patty Lentner of Sebewaing; sister, Cathy (Dennis) Hodder of St. Helen; niece, Heather (Trever) Henne and her children: Mariah and Caleb of Cass City; nephews: Michael Hodder of Colorado and Steven (Kristine) Slater of Virginia; step-daughter, Vicki (Eric) Crumby and Vicki’s children: Kaitlyn and Zachary of Caro. Dave was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Slater; and parents, John Lentner and Helen Krauss. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing from 1-9pm. The funeral service will be Monday, March 31, 2014 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home in Sebewaing at 11am. Burial will take place privately after the service.
