Marjorie Dunham of Caro, age 82, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at McLaren Bay Special Care Hospital in Bay City. She was born July 14, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Allyn M. and Elsie M. (Jensen) Stout. Margie was united in marriage with O.D. Dunham on September 21, 1950 in Caro. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2009. Margie was employed as an attendant at the Caro Regional Center, and also worked as a clerk at Caro Community Hospital. She was a member of the Caro First Baptist Church, and loved her flower gardens, knitting for family and friends, and riding her motorcycle with O.D. Margie is survived by three sons, Gary & Patty Dunham of Caro, Larry Dunham of Wylie, Texas, Bob & Denise Dunham of Caro; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer & Antoine LaPratt of Caro, Matthew and Mike Dunham of Caro, Courtney & Jamison Womack of Wylie, Texas, Brittney Dunham of Plano, Texas, Nathan Dunham of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Joshua & Jennifer Dunham of Caro, Adam & Sabrina Dunham of Haw River, North Carolina; six great-grandchildren, Connor, Ariana and Wade Dunham, Abbey and Owen LaPratt, all of Caro, Jarret Womack of Wylie, Texas; one brother, Allyn “Bud” Stout of Morehouse, Missouri; one brother-in-law and his wife, Paul & Janet Dunham of Caro; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Margie was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Julie Dunham; twin-great-grandchildren, Allison and Andrew LaPratt; daughter-in-law, Tammy Dunham; sister-in-law, Dorothy “Dot” Stout; and one brother-in-law and his wife, Carson & Loris Dunham. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Caro First Baptist Church with Rev. Ronald Wigand officiating. Burial will follow at the Brookside Cemetery in Fairgrove. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Juniata Christian School.
