William (Bill) Leslie Cramer, age 77, of Caro, MI, formerly of Oakland County, MI, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at his home with his family, after battling stage 4 lung cancer for more than 7 years. A graveside service will be held later this summer. William was born August 28, 1936 to James Henry and Ida Bell (Lee) Cramer in Huntsville, Alabama. He retired from General Motors after 36 years. William was a Christian man of strong faith. His hobbies were gardening and woodworking. William was known for his hard work, giving nature and his wonderful story telling. He made a difference in the world. He is survived by two children: Thomas Stephen (Valerie Beatrice) Cramer of Joliet, IL. and Mary Alice (Richard) Contreras of White Lake MI; grandchildren: Mary Jane Cramer and Samuel Henry Cramer, loving brother of Mildred Springer, and former spouse: Mary Beth Cramer, well-loved uncle to many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews, faithful master to Sarge.
