Lorraine E. (Frost) Bovee, Romeo, formerly of Caro

Lorraine E. (Frost) Bovee, age 90, an 11 year resident of the Romeo area and previously 12 years in Caro, Mi. and formerly from Romeo, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy.  Lorraine was born July 27, 1924 in Gary, Indiana, the daughter  of Dolor and Elsie (Wilkening) Primeau.  She married William Frost March 17, 1945 in Port Huron, MI. and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1988.  Lorraine then married Donald Bovee in 1991.  Lorraine worked over 30 years at Stony Creek Orchards in Romeo with the Ross family until she retired at age 88 in 2012.  She previously worked at L & L Products in Romeo as a supervisor.  Lorraine had many talents, including oil painting, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and wood carving.  She was a Charter member of Grace Lutheran Fellowship where she was still active in many church activities, Life member of the CCC, (Civil Conservation Corp.), and Life member of the Ladies Aux. Post # 4164 in Caro, MI.  Lorraine is survived by two daughters:  Karen (Glenn) Hopp of Washington Township and Connie (Leonard) LeClerc of Alpena, MI.  She is also survived by 3 step-children, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Three of her siblings survive:  Lavirne (Eugene) Bender of Battle Creek, William Primeau of Oscoda, MI., and Edward (Nancy) Primeau of St Clair, MI.  Lorraine was preceded in death by her brothers John and Dolor Primeau and sisters Marian and Luella Kratz.     Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Fellowship of Romeo with Pastor Eric Majeski officiating.  She will then be buried next to her husband William Frost at the McCafferty Cemetery in Bruce Township, Michigan. Donations to the Beaumont Hospice or to Grace Lutheran Fellowship would be appreciated.  Visitation will take place on Sunday from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
