FREMONT TWP. — State police say a 29-year-old Flint woman stabbed her boyfriend — a 32-year-old Flint man — Tuesday night at a residence in Tuscola County’s Fremont Township.
Trooper Michael Godi of the Caro post arrested the suspect after dispatchers sent police to the scene, near Mayville, at 7:17 p.m.
The victim suffered serious injuries but survived and was transported to Caro Community Hospital, according to a spokeswoman at the state police post at Caro.
Neither the suspect nor victim live at the Fremont Township address where the crime took place, police said.
Tuscola County District Court officials said the suspect could be arraigned in court this afternoon.
